Thread: Shaving under the nose

I'd sure like to see some pics of ya'll making the various facial contortions you're recommending...now that would be educational

Joking aside; all good advice. I've never needed an ATG pass in that area. Just a couple of WTG passes does it for me and my safeties are all mild shavers.

I just push up on the tip of my nose with the other hand, and then my second pass comes across sideways & gets anything I've missed.

Take your time, do not rush. It takes me two passes. One pass with the grain, second against. I also have a mole and that use to always get cut on regular razors. Now shaving with a DE i rarely nick it. It only gets nicked if the razor is dull or is cheap.

On a daily shave I put tongue under lip (that's without dentures ) and carefully shave ATG but on 2-3 day beard, it's side to center first then ATG. And for the new shavers, it's a bad idea to stick your tongue out while shaving around mouth area.
