To benefit the challenger, even if I do not like them, today I used Feather Hi-Stainless blades as suggested.
Feather AS-D2 Razor
Thanks mainly to this change, Feather has improved its usual efficiency.
Instead my darling had difficulty managing the first shaving, renowned for aggressiveness, of this blade.
However, the control differential has plagued both competitors.
Feather uses this blade better, but geometry imposes a less spontaneous mechanic.
The PP1489 suffers from the (first???) aggressive shaving, and required more attention than usual.
The end result, however, was identical: complete ritual in complete satisfaction (BBS3plus).
So, for the first day of this tournament in the style medieval tenzone ... I would definitely say ex aequo.
Tomorrow is replicated, but with other blades just as efficient ... but more balanced.
Stay tuned ...

To avoid problems I used one of my most precious blades.
In fact the result was (unexpectedly) perfect: BBS6plus.
Yes, because confident in my instruments the comparison has been carried out with doubling of every single step.
First the Feather, then the PP1489 ... with the classic ritual.
In the end I found that Feather is manageable, albeit less and less intuitive.
And the PP1489 in addition to being more balanced, is also more powerful.
In fact at every pass, the second identical passage with my sample has still been shaved.
Now I don't know if tomorrow I'll have the chance. : D: D: D
But I already have a litmus test to check this incredible result.
