A barber shop customer of mine came in and gifted me about 5 straights and this beautiful late 1920's Schick Repeating Razor in silver. I'm very impressed by its style and quality. I've yet to shave with a vintage SE. Any tips?

I have heard that the Schick injectors give an awesome shave.

That is the nicest of the kind I have seen! Congratulations.
You can load the magazine with modern injector blades and the razor will shave you well!
Or, you can carefully slide an injector blade into the head should you wish.

Hey guys, I'm sorry to report that I've b*tched up the flat head screw that fastens the head of my repeating razor to its handle....Makes me sick. Tinkering without research bit me in the behind! What do you think are my chances of finding a replacement?

That's not only an awesome razor, it's a piece of history. I absolutely love that it folds. If I had one, it would definitely be my travel razor.
Sorry to hear about your faux pas. I'd find a metal shop of sort in your area and talk to one of the workers. I bet if you slide him a few bucks, he can fix it for you. Definitely worth a shot before you chuck it in the parts pile.

What a fine work of art and technology. Almost art deco looking. Like someone said got to a gun smith they will most likely have screws for it.

I have an open comb type B, a safety bar type C and, a type G1. They give great shaves with good blades. My face doesn't like personna injector blades so I'm still healing some from the hack job that caused the last 2 days of last month. I prefer the chinese schick blades. and the angle is best if you ride the top. makes it an automatic 2 pass BBS for me.
