Blade Loading on the Merkur Future Clones (Ming Shi 2000s / QShave Adjustable)

Hi everybody,

I have been shaving with a Ming Shi 2000s and have been somewhat satisfied with it. I had an observation and two questions.

I noticed that the razor will produce the 'scrrrrtch' (like scratching a toast) sound only if I load the blade by pushing it inside the cap. If I load the blade any other way, there is no sound.
By loading the blade this way, it stays stuck onto the cap and I have to use an object (like a pen) to remove it

The first question is: is having this sound a good thing? Personally, I like it, because it tells me right off if my angle is wrong.
The second question is: have you tried it? Has it made your shave better or worse?

I don't have that particular razor however with any DE or SE the housing should clamp the blade to the max. If you can push it down further then the mechanism isn't doing it's job correctly.

I use a Razor-rock Wunderbar and with a good blade like an Astra or Feather it does make a sound during shaving but it's more subtle.

I discovered that I can load the blade normally, squeeze the head hard and wiggle it a bit, and the blade will get deeper. This is also easier than loading the blade by pushing it well into the cap.

I also found out that the sound in shaving appears more or less unpredictably. At least, that's how it looks to me as a newbie.
