You poor guy. My father in-law always drank instant. Marketing in the 60's was very good. When i'm camping it's peculator time!

No need for instant coffee while camping if you have a pot, water, ground coffee and a heat source to brew bush/cowboy coffee.

Had a friend who spent a teenage summer in Greece tending grapes. The first night there she was offered a cup of Greek coffee. Not knowing any better, she slugged it back with a bunch of sugar. To the horror/amusement of her Greek hosts, she then used the spoon to down what was in the bottom of the cup. She reports not sleeping that night.
I remember someone making camp coffee using one of those blue enamel coffee pots - not a percolator. You put the grounds in the pot, added boiling water and let it steep. Before serving, you grabbed the handle and swung around it at arms length to force the grounds to the bottom of the pot (I never remember if that is centrifugal or centripetal force). Tasted pretty darn good.
Whats wrong with a few grounds in the bottom of the cup anywayz?
