I was left spechless!
Hey guys I just wanna share my story and my experience shaving with a real DE razor, so after about 6-7 years of DE shaving with ONLY a cheap plastic Wilkinson Sword Classic razor, I shaved with a Muhle R103 (open comb) and my God what a world of a difference, it turns out the more aggressive razor which I was really hesitant to purchase because of it being so aggressive, worked extremely well for me. I literally felt the comb and blade cutting away very comfortably to be honest, and the best part of it all, there was not a single drop of blood nor any red glowing skin what-so-ever! I was left speechless, literally. This is what I was missing this whole time! And i'm very glad I was able to experience something like this.
Merry Christmas 2020 :)

Congrats. The weight is a nice thing as long as you control it.

Now days I normally shave with a straight razor but before that I used DE's. I came across a 3 pc. Gillette New Open Comb from the 30's, a very aggressive razor and loved it so well I named it 'Brush Buster'. It would attack 3 - 4 days growth like it wasn't even there. Having a comb instead of a bar meant less contact with skin and less friction thus less effort shaving.

I just want to ask a question about that razor though. Since its not plastic, do I have to completely dry it off without me having to worry about it rusting or anything like that?

Its chrome plated (im guessing) so it shouldnt be an issue. But it is proper maintenance to clean and dry including removing the blade. Id store it in pieces for proper drying.

Most DEs are plated and if the plating is not damaged a good rinse, some shakes and leave to air dry is good enough for me.

My Gillette New Open Comb from the 30's, think I paid $11.00 for it about 12 years ago at a local antique store.
