If you get an old blade, kill its edge, and glue on top with cyanoacrylate, a new Schick blade ... that will give you about 30 shaves. When you need to change it, dip it in acetone to dissolve the cyanoacrylate, dry it, and stick a new one. To do this it is better to do some fixed method that has the exact measurement of the original sheet. There are a thousand ways to do it, painting the profile, on a sheet of paper, for exampleIf you get an old blade, kill its edge, and glue on top with cyanoacrylate, a new Schick blade ... that will give you about 30 shaves. i have one but have never tried to use it (even have some original blades). wish there was a easier hack.
I've used mine on an occasion, not often though. I just put an injector in without a shim & shaved. The security of that method with respect to blade fixing seems suspect but it actually works fine.
I put a injector blade in it without shims or anything but im probably gonna try a more secure way to do it prior to using it..
