Thread: bald men

i am bald and wondered how another who shaves his head bald. I use a straight for my face and for my head using a safety razor.
But there are also people who use the straight. How are you going to work for a smooth head with no cuts.
Have you another angle of the straight on your head?

I too shave my head with a safety razor though I've made a few attempts with a straight. I did a fair job at best (top only) and haven't worked at it enough to feel confident. Afraid of removing that one mole...or worse. Maybe I'll grow my eyelashes and do a comb-over.

A good many of us use straights on our heads. It just takes practice - take it slow until you get comfortable with it. I don't do anything different than shaving my face, just more carefully in the back where I can't see. I think Jimbo made a video, you should be able to search it out.

Ok thanks, I will go and watch this video. I hope some can learn.
Think it will still take awhile before I go do it with a straight.

An update: I just made a shave. And I shaved my head bald with a straight! And I can be proud of myself, no cuts and a smooth shave.
Maybe beginners luck?
