The Fatboy is a nice razor. I have a '59 Fatboy, but I have not used it yet. I think its time to give it a try. I do have a slim I like to use it on 5 or 6.

Do a progression with the FB. 7-5-3 etc. Great Shave, BBS
Hello, Crom:
I have an Edwin Jagger "Chatsworth" barley and a Muhle-Pinsel R89 (the rich cousin to the EJ L89). Both are lovely razors, and give great shaves. They are kept in rotation along with the straights. Feather is my blade. I also have a Gillette "Red Tip" and never use it, because I am not a fan of Gillette. I go with what works best for me, and so it should be.
Regards,
Obie
I am enjoying reading about your journey Crom
please keep posting as you go :)
Ok so I just purchase a few new razors and a few vintage one.
The adustable slim and fatboy setting 4 or 5 works great, have tried it a nine was a little too much.
Vintage New open comb round ball handled gillette.>>> Now that is a nice razor with feathers or yellow packs. Smooth super results.
I have a slant comming in today (or should be) I will give it a try tommorrow and let you know. Should be my straight razor day, but I think my boker will forgive me.
I just tried some trumpers coconut cream a few days ago, wow is that super stuff. I have a huge soap and cream rotation but that may get slipped in a little more often....
