    Default Single blabe disposable?

Does anyone use them either daily or in a pinch?

I thought I would try these first and see if i could even cut hair with one before i bought something I didn't want to throw in the trash.

you could get a little practice with a parker shavette but

now i heard that the feather single blade is much better but a real straight is cheaper than that

sorry I guess I should have been a little more clear. I meant single edge disposable safety razors like Bic.

Just wanted to know if anyone uses them.

    Thanks

Some guys like them, I know my grandpa uses them from time to time.

IMO I think they are complete crap. My father-in-law had a bag of them a few years ago, and for some reason he passed them on to me. I thought they'd work in pinch when I didn't have a pack of cartridges around (which was my razor of choice in those days). Tried them a couple times and they absolutely do not work for my face and beard. Always leaves tons of stubble, and of course it grows back a lot sooner as a consequence. YMMV, as you never know until you try.

For my beard they are basically unusable - just tug my face but that's all.

Some folks quite like the single blade de, less irritation than a multi blade, and the head is fixed, i have tried them before, and with the right prep, and basically only using them once, they gave a decent shave.
