Thread: Anyone know how old/how it works?

I am really scratching my head (face) hehe....in wanting to know how old this item is and how it works exactly..any thoughts?..and this is the ONLY 1 I have seen for sale

Looking at Robert Wait's Safety Razor Compendium it appears that was made between 1927 and 1932.

I think the head pivots down so it is parallel to the handle, which then allows the blades (which are stored vertically in the handle magazine) to be inserted into the head by the built in pusher. Snap the head back up and you are ready to shave.

I've looked at those before - but I already have a 1930's injector and my interests were running in other directions.

If you buy it give us a report. Looks like a neat razor.

Vintage Schick C2 Repeating Injector Razor - eBay (item 330466141729 end time Sep-04-10 14:20:42 PDT)

This one has some decent photos:

according to this site Schick Injector Razors it appears that the type c2 was made from 1933 till 1941 and packaged in a narrow white box with blue trim. and as the name would suggest it was only the third model razor made by magazine repeating razor company.
