seeing as window shopping is on of my favourite hobbies.. i'm wondering what sites are out there for purchasing used and vintage safety razors? other than ebay and the classifieds here.. anyone know of anything.. mainly i'd love to find an extremely old gillette tech on the cheap.. and really don't care for ebay.

If you don't mind purchasing from the UK, I can highly recommend Mr Dave Glynn (Modern and Vintage Safety Razors, Shaving Brushes, Creams and Soaps - SafetyRazors.co.uk).
I have had a few razors restored by him, and he does an excellent job.
The prices may seem high compared to those in the USA, but here in the UK everything seems to be much more expensive than in the USA (e.g. gasoline is 2 -3 times more expensive) :(

Hi Victor,
I have a couple of different Tech razors that might fit the bill. One is a gold ball end (1956) in excellent shape and the other's an undated gold fat handle in good condition. You can use the pm feature if either of those might interest you.

Oh, I also have assorted other razors, such as various super speeds and a few open comb types.
You can also find some decent razors here I have bought a few there as well.

Google search..sites sites sell them for good prices..also Men's Shaving, Grooming, Skin and Hair Care - West Coast Shaving has very good stuff

Yeah in my opinion they are geared to safety's like this site is to straights. Both of them are the 2 main sites I find useful.
If you have a local barber, I'd recommend taking a stroll down to see if they'd have some on display. Just recently I went out of town and walked in to a local barber shop to find he had a vast array of vintage straight razors and safety razors alike. I asked if he'd be so kind as to sell me a few and he agreed. I picked out a vintage 1930's Gillette "New" model in its original case in mint condition for only $25. So aye, give that a go and I hope it helps :)
