    Default Blade Advice

I recieved a 1956 Super Speed Blue Tip from Larry Andreassen for my 18 yo son. I was wondering what DE blades might possibly give him the best shave. He has that soft teenage facial hair and fairly sensitive skin.

My first thought would be to get him a sampler pack of blades to try.
That way he could find the one that he likes best.
Start with the least aggressive ones, and work your(his) way up thru the sampler pack all the way to the Feather blades.
You can find those sampler packs on many of the many online stores that advertise on this site.

My personal recommendation would be the Gillette 7 o'clocks Yellow packs. Sharp, but smooth and forgiving.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

    Hello, Tex:

My friend Birnando offers an excellent suggestion for blades and I fully concur. Those Gillette 7 O'Clock "Sharp Edge" blades in the yellow packets, especially, are superb.

    Regards,

    Obie
