My favorite safety razor is the Gem 1912 SE. Just about as close as you can get to shaving with a straight IMO.

Same here, although that may change. I recently purchased a Vintage Gillette Fatboy Adjustable on ebay.

Before I switched to a str8 my favorite DE was a 1930's Gillette New Open Comb.

Favorite would have to be my Gillette model '04 J. WW1 razor, beautiful condition. Very nice , clean shave in 2 passes.

i like most vintage american gilettes think fat boys are up there with the best, what american vintage razors should i look out for ? i live in uk thanks
