    Hi Don,
Your question deserves its own thread, which I've replied to here.

I have but one DE razor and it lives in this:

A friend who is an amazing stained glass artist made it for me and started life as a cigar holder but it gets more use as a razor holder.

For those looking for a minimalist inexpensive and convenient solution I suggest going on eBay and search for razor stands there.
I just purchased one for 8 dollars, and it looks amazing. (it's for a straight though, but they have similar versions for DE's.)

I'm surprised no one has responded to the original question "How do you hang your safety razor?" thusly:

    WITH A ROPE!

if TTO I take the blade out and keep the silo doors open and hang on brush/razor stand with the head pointing up. if 3 piece ill remove blade and take apart and lay to dry on a towel.

Achilles stamp holder for a few, Current razor is placed side down on a towel, Others are stored in the cases, in a display case, a felt lined box, and a drawer.

I just lay mine on its side. Nothing to hang it from.

You know, it dawned on me it really is a shame that we put these things on stands and displays, because we can no longer buy these delicate little machines that were so high quality, and so common and are now no longer made. It really is a shame.
