um..............what did I say? really, no one has one? Or comments?
It is quite nice looking...unfortunately I dint and have never used a de before so I can not comment.
Just so that you don't think you are being ignored either ;)
Thanks, I guess I was just shocked that no one had one, to comment about it.
Meh, we're not impressed. I've got two Gillette "Big Fellow" DE razors (Old Type and New Improved) that knock the socks off this "upstart" Titan H-1; and, at $185, well, it's your money -- not mine.

it just seems like everyone and his mother are coming out with DE razors these days. I think the science of designing these things peaked in the mid 20th century so these people are competing to makes the heaviest and most expensive product out there.
I view these things as precision instruments and most of these new ones are poorly balanced and feel cumbersome.
Correct me if I'm wrong, there are only 3 manufactures in the USA, Weber, Tradere, and Above the tie that make a DE?
But your saying they all have great form but lack function? Shame, who wants to spend big bucks for a DE, that's performance maybe less than that of a $35 EJ or 100 yr. old Gillette? and I love my Barley! smoothest shaver I've ever had.
Not going to buy a Titan H1 to rich for me, but it sure does look pretty!
Of course I haven't tried all these new ones but they seem very similar to me. I have the Pils and though it shaves good it has the worst ergonomics of any DE I've ever used. I have the Tradere OC and find the head too heavy against the face. I think the Feather is the best out there. It almost disappears in your hand-perfectly balanced. I have the barley too and it's a very fine shaver and gorgeous to boot.
Gentlemen:
From what I understand, The Titan H1 is a well made razor, and looks handsome. Also, I am told the razor is a wee bit aggressive for a closed comb razor. Some like that and some not, obviously. The Atlas, a variation of the Titan, to come out soon, will offer three different heads, from mild to aggressive — Atlas H, R, M, I think. Some also complain about the razor's price at around $185. Of course, it might be worth it to some gentlemen. Right now I am plus or minus on a decision to buy the razor.
