    Default Found a Fatboy!

I'm so excited! I decided to run over to one of the local antique shops and I was poking around in a case that had a few straight razors and numerous double edge razors. I looked at a few sitting on the side and thought they looked a lot like Fatboys so I went ahead and looked at dates. Sure enough, the stout razors all had E1 dates, and I do believe the third was an F something, was a bit hard to read. I grabbed one of the E1's and brought it home. It's in pretty good condition but will definitely look into having it fully restored. Not a bad find for $35 I think.

sure is a fatboy. as long as the doors close tight and the dial works fine it should shave great. give it a 5-10 minute boil in a 1 part water and 2 parts vineger bath. it will remove all the gunk. then throw some polish on it and you will be verrrrry surprized!!

Yea, they are great shavers I'm sure you will enjoy it. If you search the net there are instructions on how to do a tear down on one.
