Default First Shave with my Parker 90R

I got my Parker 90R yesterday and shaved with it last night. I did a WTG, XTG, and all was going well till the ATG. The Parker's handle is slippery So here is the result of that. Not too bad and not deep at all.

All in all it was one of the best shaves in my life! Still have some stubborn areas but I will get them with practice!
My Str8 is due in tomorrow! I am so looking forward to that!

Any recommendations on the grip on my Parker?

I keep a small towel or cloth at hand. I use it to keep my hands dry. With either a DE or str8, you don't want slippery hands. Some people put something on their fingers to improve their grip, I just keep my hands dry.
The tale is doon, and God save al the rowte!

I got the Parker 96R a month ago. Fantastic quality and balance and the grip is ideal. My favourite! The 90R does look as though it could be a bit slippery. I hope you get used to it.

A bit of a battle scar, bit it will heal. I've heard a lot of good things about that razor. Maybe as the others have stated, a towel to dry your hand near by would work well.

Thanks all! This is not going to discourage me from shaving with it! Was just looking for some advise which I always get from the SRP forums!
