    No way. Especially not with a safety razor! And without noticing it?

    Also, 3 alum blocks? You must have been trying to staunch the bleeding for a good year or so...

    Picture evidence is demanded, by the way.

    Glad the hospital didn't admit you for more mental testing! I can already see the conversation, I am not crazy I just like to spend countless dollars on wet shaving. Lock this one up, he is obviously nuts!

    Thank everyone for their kind thoughts. My next door neighbor runs the emergency room at our local hospital (where they stitched me up). He has offered to let me use one of the bathrooms the next time I shave with this razor. Perhaps I should find a more lubricating shave soap other than my bar of dial soap.

    Honestly I can understand what he just say the pool of blood! When I get small nicks on a very sharp razor, I can barley feel it. Then again this wasn't your average cut, but ya know
