    Gentlemen,
I use the Feather stainless steel in the Scotch wood handle. I have used the DX series, too, but I find the stainless steel version the more comfortable.
Except that I don’t call these razors Shavettes. The Shavette is a flimsy thing that Dovo produces. I call the Feather straight razor with replaceable blades.
I think this is an excellent shaving instrument. My blades are the Feather Professional.

I learned to use a straight by using a Wick, with Personna blades. I have a stainless handle and one is aluminum. I personally like the weight of the stainless handle better, more feedback and control. I also stopped the blades before using, I found that it helps.

I have the Weck, with original Weck blades as well as the personna blades, as well as a very nice Feather. Both shave very well. I did use a razor one that used the half de blades, and I was not impressed.

I have the plain Jane folding Feather SR with black scales. I found I like the Feather Professional blades over the Supers.

    Hi Slim.
I have two of those Feather Shavettes.
One that looks like a Kamasori and the other just as you mentioned.
I think they are top-notch when it comes to a Shavette.

Once I figured it out, I started getting great shaves with it.

I have a question, I don't think that anyone here dosen't have a straight razor, so why so much emphasis on shavettes? I don't think there's any shavette that's better than a good straight is there?
I only use the shavette for traveling, all other times I use the straight. JMHO.
