Feather Artist Club SS-mechanism

Hello!
I am Andraz and i come from Slovenia. I started shaving with feather razor about month ago and i think i have a problem here with mechanism. I didn't find any threads about this problem from my home forums so I came here for help.
When I first opened razor head the sheet spring couldn't move(100% sure), now I think it has some gap under the pushing nut and it can rotate spring for a very minimum angle(then the spring hits the wall). Mechanism still provides good tension but please tell me should i be worried? Is that normal?

This should not be a problem, unless it comes off the pin. You can drive it back down with a socket the is the same diameter as the circular lock washer.

You made a smart buy. This is a great razor, especially with Feather blades.

I'm not quite sure what you are talking about, but the side that slides off the razor as a small rebate that stops the blade moving up holding the blade at the right depth level, the spring as enough force to hold the blade against the wall of the rebate plate, If Feather razors had any issues I assure you Feather would be the first to tell you.

I am talking about gap under the pushing nut (which hold sheet spring on) and my fear is that the spring will fall out. Thanks for the answers anyways :)

I don't think a little movement around the pin would be an issue. Everything in the picture looks secure. So long as the pushing nut as you call it does not come off the pin I'm sure you will be fine.

I just wanted to be sure:) And I read 'pushing nut' in instructions of product:)

Gentlemen, I have no technical advice to offer; however, I do agree that the Feather is a superb razor.
