    folks here do not use shavettes too much. Have you searched the various online stores?

    i am in the shaving with shavettes thread aren't I or did i mispost ?????????? yes i looked and found one and was asking opinions in the shavette thread i thought

    Yes you are but as I said there aren't many folks that use them. Our members predominantly use straight razors.
    Anyway hope someone chimes in.

    thanks and FYI I use straights also I just like some of the replaceable blade barber straight razors for traveling. I have a weck and a durham duplex and one more generic "shavette" and a cjb kamisori for travel but was thinking of trying one of the artist club foldable razors and the one i linked looked like it might be the one to try.........

    my suggestion would be just get a Feather, i understand the money thing but, its a one time buy. if you keep at it you will find that it is a great investment, now on the other hand the Kai is also quality but at a more affordable proice plus their blades are pretty good too. Obie had a Feather DX i believe for sale but its gone now. i bought a Feather RG when i started and it lives in my travel bag and in my Bikes saddlebags.
