Lynn's Tips # 7
Hi Guys,
When you are shaving no matter how many passes you use, there is usually an area either missed or that might be tougher and you go back to it for a touch up. Your face usually will dry up pretty quickly following a straight razor pass so be sure when you do touch up that area, you have either water or lather on it. It will really help get those pesky remaining whiskers.

I've found it easier to find those stray hairs with wet fingers. I usually pass my hand under the tap before I go feeling for them, really quick to pick up on.
-
I use a little lather, my spot is th right side of my neck, hair grows at a funny angle.
-
It all grows odd for me. I've considered a petting ritual in hopes I can get it all to grow in one direction. :)
I haven't tried using lather to find those spots, but I think I'll stick to using water since I'm usually just a splash away from rinsing my face.

Light lather, I use a scuttle, it's always there at the tip of my brush.
-
I use a coffee cup, and I always wind up making more than I need. It's available, I just prefer water. I'll give it a try in the morning, though.

As I am the last in the bathroom in the AM and therefore have the least amount of time I make my two passes and then go as I don't have time for follow up. However if I shave on the weekend I will use some water when I touch up.:tu

A soap shave stick is also great to use for touch ups! Just rub it over the trouble spot for a quick, slick finish.

Any body ever use shave oil for touch up?

I have tended to stay away from the oils as they make my hands slippery and I don't want to drop my razor or have it slip in my hand. If you get all the oil off, it should be fine. I still think the lather works the best, but only personal opinion.
Have fun,
