Of the straight razors that you have used, what brand, size, type of steel have you used that has given you the best shave? Just curious if any pattern will emerge from the answers.

My best is a 5/8 full hollow carbon steel Puma that will never win any prizes for good looks, but i honed it myself and am approaching 40 shaves without any touch ups, just a strop. It still gives me a superb shave.
I have a few that not disappoint me.
Also i have a few that shave good but not are a razor that i pick many times out of the cabinet.
But if i now must sale my razors i have 5or 6 i dont sale
Kayser allison 6/8
Wacker jungmeister 15/16
Abr Knyn 8/8 (41....1/4 Ak Solingen
Henckels zwillingwerk 7/8
Gustav hammerfah( swimmer)
The rest i can miss........or dont ;)

For me its Dubl Duck and Wade & Butcher.
There are others I really like (TI, Puma, Wacker...) and they are VERY good, but for me the blades that just consistently give me BBS shaves with no irritation, its those two makes.
Actually the best razor that I ever owned was a vintage Puma. It was sharpened and used so much that the blade was only 1/2". I was heartbroken when the razor was accidentally droped and broke. After that my second favorite was a M. Jung. In fact I just purchased one off the bay with a 3/4 blade. Honed it and it is just super.
That's an easy question: My custom-made Mastro Livi.
Sure.
