I'm with all the above. For me, 6/8 is favorite. 5/8 I have to rinse too much. It's about what works for you...try a couple other sizes, +/- thumb notches & jimps, and see what rocks your world the best.

FYI -- serious necro-post here. OP hasn't been active for nearly 3.5 years!
So far I have only used 5/8". I am excited to try some other sizes just to see how they shave!
You should own every size... :)
Christ,I feel like such a fool
The only reason that I noticed is that I am a natural nerd and numbers make more sense to me than almost anything else. ;)
With that said, I enjoy everything from 5/8 up to 8/8. 6/8 might be my most favorite with exception of the 8/8 Lewis I own; Charlie does amazing work. Like some other member commented recently, they are practically unicorns these days.
I have a 2 1/2" PRC Sprite, 1/4 hollow, 6/8. I only shave around my neck below my beard, and it is perfect for my use. I am able to get into tighter places, and I haven't managed to roll the edge or other wise damage good merchandise. I still have the wants, but not the need for one of those 7/8 or 8/8 razors, but that probably speaks to other issues I have...If it shaves, use it. If it doesn't find something that does. This is far from an exact science, but fun to try things out.
