Finally polished up my razor
Yesterday night I took my time and spend some more honing time with the razor on the 8k norton. Since it was not as shiny as some people say. Thinking this morning would be a nice shave since it's polished up. I'd go ahead and shave. Everything went smoother as usual until I was doing my underlip.
My underlip is a chicken and it suddenly started to shake when my razor was doing it's pass. Dang, about half a inch wide cut. It's not the first time I touched the underlip with the sudden movement, but the previous time it wasn't bleeding. So I kept going with my shaving.
Within a second I saw that this time it's a little bit different, it's gushing real hard. I didn't even bother making my second pass and started to stop the bleed. It took 20 minutes for the cut to stop to 1 point and another 20 minutes for the point to stop bleeding.
A sharp razor is nice, but not as forgiven. Next time, I'll bite my underlip so even if it wants to move, it won't be able to. Any more tips for stopping shaking body parts?
