I have been straight razor shaving for about 5 weeks give or take, love it. I have 2 Dovo Solingen ⅝ razors, have only used one so far. Since I have a full beard and mustache, is there a smaller straight edge that I can order? I'm talking about the length from heel to toe (I think :o). Seem as though it would be easier and more accurate to manipulate since I am not doing a full shave...Any and all help is sincerely appreciated.
There are several custom makers on the forum,,, go to the vendor's section & check out there sites.
many of the fixed or non folding razors are smaller. There are quite a number of smaller folders out there as well. I have a few, I was lead to believe the were intended for women. A sharp blade knows no gender. They are a little tricky when you are just looking at them because the are proportionately smaller.
I have a Duck Dwarf in rotation that is all around smaller. Works great for detail work. I keep a full goatee so my shaving real estate is less then some. Though I use several different size blades, the smaller ones work better for me. Note that my dwarf is noticeably harder to hold though as the dimensions are smaller. Adapt an overcome since the shave is so nice.
I have a "The Real" Cattaraugus Cutlery Co. razor (I suppect it is a corn razor) it is about 5/8" and only 2.25" blade length
something like this or otherwise a traditional or western ground kamisori might be a better option for you
Dovo used to make a 3/8 but you might even consider a DE.
WANTED: a 5/8 shorty, somewhere in the 2" range preferably ??what ever you want goes here?? . << try an add ? There are some broken blades in boxes out there that may need short scales (or not) and a hone. Heck, e-bay is full of them.

Max sprecher makes "shorties" too.
A Depew monkey tail would make a nice trim razor. Depew’s are nice shavers.
But really you only shave with about 1inch of blade at a time.
I have a couple of 4/8 razors that are some of my favorites and would make great trim razors for their ease of manipulation. Like driving a sports car.

+1 on the Depew, you can also look for a nice razor on eBay that has a chip or a crack at the end and shorten it yourself. Then you can choose whatever tip design you want.
Mercur made a 2/8s. They are out there.
