I have a lot of razors but have never shaved with a straight razor that has a curved edge. I am curious to know how different the shave technique and quality of the shave is from a straight edge to a curved edge?

Saito SK1 users, please chime in. :p
Never had a Saito. But I have some smiles, they shave very well especially in the neck area. Don't know how to explain to t but it's kinda like having a built in scything stroke. My best shavers are smileys. Tc
I've never had a Saito # 1 (the most curved)

Finally more traditional smiling blades, a Shumate Tungsteel, and a Ran-tan-Xa-rus

Great shavers all.
Love my smilin' Sheffield blades, great for getting into the neck hollows as TC says.

I kind of like them.
Scything motion with short strokes.
Really nice. Think I will spring for one. Jerry Stark's has some very nice ones at a reasonable price for a forged blade. Thanks guys
My 6/8 Red Devil smiler is, by far, the best shaver I have to attack the neck and face concaves. I shave so well with it that I don't need a second pass.
