    Default What music do you play while shaving???

    Hello all;

    One basic tip that I learned by myself (not soon enough) is to turn the water off, so you can listen to your razor. *In straight razors they talk about singing blades, imagine that!

    That being said, i read a while ago that playing some music while you shave is a good way to make the whole experience a little better. *

    So, i blended both tips and now I play music in my iPad at less than half the volume. *Just enough to hear it, not so much that you don't listen to your razor. *

    Simple question: *what music do you play while shaving?

    I play jazz. *Mostly Al Jareau (rest in peace) my favorite singer of all time, who passed away recently;**and Anita Baker, so powerful and sexy!

    While they were still active, I listened to Vault Radio, then Fallout Radio. They were streaming radios and basically played American music, programs and commercials from the 30s, 40s and 50s. "3 out of 4 doctors recommend Camel cigarettes for flavour "
    Then I move onto Rockabilly Radio, until they updated and my PlayBook could no longer play it.
    Now, I listen to audiobooks on my phone.

    Sometimes it's Bob Marley and the Whalers on I heart Radio, and other times it's classic country. The stuff before the 70's that is true classic country.

    All depends on the mood I guess

    Just the razor singing is good enough for me and it doesn't wake the rest of the sleeping household at 0400-0500.

    Dear Bob, i am referring to whisper low volume. So low that you can hear your razor cutting whiskers! And yes, sometimes the mood is for no music at all. The best for you my friend.

    The Bathroom exhaust fan is the only thing I got running for sounds. I shave at night so no need for quite but there is also no room for a radio. The fan works for me.
