So I maybe I was distracted listening to the radio while lathering up but I started my shave with my Left hand. I shave with both but I always start with the Right. I didn't realize what was happening until I finished one side of my face.

This just shows that sometimes your in your right mind. :)
I totally understand. I once got to work and realized I was wearing my wife's cocktail dress.
As long as the shoes matched the dress, nobody could say anything.
The most efficient way to walk is to use two legs.
That's the only way I can answer maybe the most common question asked in wet shaving forums : Should I use one hand or both?
We've all been there. I think I had something on my mind this morning. My shave routine was all over the place, I shaved bits in the wrong order with the wrong hand, I was pretty much dressed before I realised I hadn't applied any of my usual after shave. Guess what the end result was the same. I guess that means I must be getting more proficient, previously if I mixed things up I was punished for it. So I guess it's all good.
I have never gone to work in one of my wife's dresses though, they are just too big for me :rofl2: (thankfully she is not on this forum).
I swap around, flop around. Still trying to find my best technique.
I still have to stick with the stardard order of things or i pay for it. It shouldnt mater but if i skip all over the place in my regiment i just dont get a very good shave. Great shave last night. Some days its not quite as good as others. Not sure if its me or the blade i choose that day just yet. Yep, you must be doing something right. Being left handed im in my right mind but i dont think it helps me any.
I'm sure nobody noticed.

And the true elites from the Appalachians are the "mountain williams". LOL.
My wife is from the hills of eastern Tennessee. She left the hills a long time ago. She still retains much of her Appalachian American accent, but would never pass for a hillbilly. On the other hand, her father and twin brother were hillbillies to the core and proud of it.
Fashion police here: haven't seen anything about matching purse. Come on, guys. :rofl2:
As to not noticing switching hands, proficiency achieved. Good job.
I also had a great shave this evening, even though I started off with my right hand as usual. I was starting to think it was my Fili's wonderful edge, but maybe it's the luck of the Irish given the St. Patrick's holiday.
@Smyth -- If you keep your personal pics on Yahoo, he could have gotten them from the two Russian FSB hackers who pawned that site. ;)
My shaves have come a long way from what they were three moths ago! They are better every day, the left hand isn't quite as good, but its close. One issue is I think I might need a better soap. Or a different approach to making lather. It is still a way better shave than my old carriage razor!
