What was that dark colored ‘finishing strop’ that he used after the brown leather?

The first one he ever owned. He probably started working there when he was 6.

That was a stunning shave! Wow! It is risky, but I may as well admit I teared up just now watching this most incredible shave. The connection that barber has with his task, and his incredible level of skill. I feel lucky to have seen this. I have soooo much to think about from this. Wow!

Always wanted to go to Korea.......

Here in SE PA there's a very well-known Barbershop where folks come from the trip-state area for cuts, but mostly for the incredible shaves they deliver. The attached video is worth a watch.https://youtu.be/lGV5U6fYzkw

Although it's 5 years old, the same barber is there and he's trained the other barbers in the shop to provide the same incredible shave. I go there every three to four months for a full face and head shave and it is really worth it. ($60)
