I like listening to music during all of my daily activities. Shaving as well. I would like to know, if you do listen to music while shaving, what you listen to.
My recent playlist (minus last night, LOL) is:

Just to name a few. So what about you guys and (Girl??? We do have one right?)
Currently I have no music in my shaving routine,
but would like to add it. I'm thinking something in
the area of classical music. For now it's usually
the children's network of Noggin playing as I have
a three year old roaming about. I try to shave
when he's napping but sometimes find him fixated
enough on what he's doing to get a shave in
with him awake. I think my collection of Irish rebel
music would inflame me and cause me to do
unneccesary damage to myself :tu . I saw
someone recently listened to Rage Against
the Machine. Not suggested.

I like Classical and AC/DC When I shave depending on my mood prior to my shaving. That is when I have quality time. In the morning it is talk radio before work.

I go mostly for folk music (I find it calming) and classic rock. So I usually break out Sarah Harmer, Catherine McClelland, Rose Cousins, Gordon Lightfoot, Kathleen Edwards...and CSNY, acoustic Zep, etc. If I'm feeling a little more esoteric or contemporary, I'll add some Radiohead to the mix.

I'm not sure why people think Rage Against the Machine is unsuited for shaving... I'm definitely not a fan of their music, but not sure why it's inappropriate... an inside joke or something?

I guess I am out of sync with the rest of you as I prefer silence when I am shaving!
Yesterday, I had that $#@&*?! jingle from freecreditreport.com stuck in my head. I am now deeply scarred both physically and emotionally. Typically, though, if I shave at night, it's the high energy sounds of my 5 year old (he's good about respecting the shaving space). If I shave in the morning, I try to listen to the news.
I usually shave in silence. Also because I usually shave at night when the kids are already in bed.

I'll listen to anything between AC/DC to Led Zeppelin. Tony Bennett, Lawrence Welk, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Bach, Pachelbel, whatever. Whatever I am in the mood to hear.

It depends on my mood, usually Merle Haggard, George Jones, George Strait, Chris LeDoux, and Don Williams. Sometimes, though, to really relax I'll go with Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Wagner, or Chopin.
^^^George Jones puts on a great live show. I saw him and Gary Busey do a few songs at City Stages years ago!

I do enjoy my silence though. I'm still new enough that I need to concentrate. When I first started, my daughter wanted to watch. I got distracted and gave myself a nice cut. The poor thing had this horrified look on her face when she saw red running down Daddy's mug! So now it's silence mostly and I work solo.

The local NPR affiliate here - its usually BBC Newshour by the time I get to shaving
Usually silence, or the local jazz station. If I take the time... perhaps a Liz Story or Joe Sample CD... or anything else that seems right at the time... standards, folk, country, rock, jazz, classical. But no Reggae or Rap :nono:. Ever!!:p
Handel Water Music is nice... ...so are the Gipsy Kings. Mostly though, it's just hairs meeting the guillotine!
