You know how they say, "Don't shave when you are tired?"
Well, I had been working on honing the Robeson Shuredge spike that I got from Jim (syslight) for the past few days - I was not too happy with the edge I was getting on the toe. The other day, I thought I was close to what I wanted. So last night, I got home past midnight from a long meeting, and said, "heck, why not?" I needed to relax, and shaving does that for me.
I was making a slow "routine" WTG pass down my right cheek when i felt the spike dig into the base of my right earlobe. Didn't hurt, and I thought I had gotten away with it till the blood started to show up. ;) Not to worry, it was not deep enough for stitches.
I guess I got the toe just right. :)
