When I was reading a comment on a visit to London to Mrs Hobler, she authorised a visit to barber shops in London : a) Trumper in Curzon streetand b) Trufitt & Hill in St James Street,
Guys what an experience!.
I had an appointment for 3 p.m. I entered the paradise at 3 and there it was, all you possibly could ask for.But first I was guided downstairs to the seat, possibly in case of a deep cut it would be easier to dispose of me.
Marvin, a wellversed barber in his fiveties started of with a very hot towl, uff, follwoed by a very gentle application of loathe and a shave so smothe I have not yet achieved myself. There was non of those unpleseat sentiments one has when one shaves oneself. We finished with the application of an alumn stick plus skin food.
I felt very comfortable and left the shop ready for the afternoon.
Two days later, with no shave in between I headed for Trufitt & Hill. This time on the same level with the street. I was seated and waited for a lady!!! to offer me a wet shave. I had time to mavel at all the niceties in the shop; I am more into T & H products.
Well, the lady started with applying shaving oil, followed by a super hot towl, uh.
Then I was loathed and had a very clean and smoth shave.
After another hot towl and after shave balm, not to forget an extented purchase of nice products I was ready for the day.
If you were to ask me, I' d revisit Trufitt & Hill, not for the lady but because I liked the treatment a bit more.
