Default Are Str8/Wet shavers any neater??

I"ve been pondering this question for some time now, the many months since I became a wet/str8 shaver, and now I think is the time for me to blurt it out!! Are we as a group any more tidy in the lu than electric or disposable shavers?? I know that to make certain that my Sig/Other[Karen Sue] will not take up a collection to get rid of my sorry butt, I do think I, with intent or not, do clean up a bit more neatly than maybe before I took up the hobby. The little things that seem so important to the lady's ie: remove spots from mirror, wipe counter/sink dry and clean, put everything back where ever it might belong, pre-shaves, post shaves, razors, Alum Block, towls, for drying and for softening, ect..ect.. et alia. You'all get the idea. I was just wondering whether it occured to any one else, or am I just bloody well over thinking things again??
All your thoughts will be appreciated!!!!

Hmmm, after thinking about this one, I have to say that I am significantly neater in the bathroom after starting straight shaving. This may be because I treat it more as a relaxing ritual than a mere grooming event. Everything follows a routine, all the way down to putting the razor away and cleaning the brush... That's how it is for me anyway.

I have to agree. I used to leave a mess with razor thrown on the counter and gel leaking from a can with the lid tossed next to it. I now have a carefully straightened line of products on the counter, with stands and a nicely folded white towel to put my straights on while using. All in all it is a very tidy appearance, particularly with the brush/stands/bowl in matching black.

I noticed the same thing about myself. For the most part the wife and I have shared two bathrooms. She had most of her stuff in the big bathroom and I had most of my stuff in the smaller one. I'd been shaving for a few weeks. One day I cleaned out all my stuff in the big bathroom and pulled all her stuff out of the small bathroom. I organized and cleaned my bathroom, leaving her a few drawers to put some of her stuff in. Since that day my bathroom has been clean and organized, whereas before it wasn't. So ya, me to.

for whatever the reason when my roommate used the bathroom my medicine cabinet opened revealing the many astringents and toners as well as colognes and balms as well as brushes. He thought I organized it according to levels of importance :P

He thought I was nuts! His medicine cabine he says he just throws **** and don't give a hoot. He asks "What do you see when I walk in your bathroom?" It's rather filthy on the floor because mud tracked in I don't know how ( it was him ). He exclaims "Ivan your bathroom is cleaner than 99% of the bathrooms out there everything is neatly stacked and organized"

For me neatness in the bathroom is a necessity. I share a bathroom with eleven out of my twenty two in-laws, any of whom could be visiting and using the bathroom at any one time. So everything I use in the bathroom fits neatly into a small basket. When I'm finished everything goes back to my bedroom where all my shaving stuff gets put away. If I leave anything in the bathroom others will either us it or break it. It might just be me, but I don't like other people using my things.

Oh, gosh no. Not me. My bathroom gets progressively worse to the point where I really think I'm literally the only one that that would use it. Then I power clean the thing a few times a year when my wife (who would never use my bathroom) asks me to. It's my filth!

I've always been rather pristine in the bathroom so I don't think my bathroom is any tidier due to SR shaving but I can see how it would be now if I wasn't as tidy before.

Yet I used to hate to take the time to shave my face and would go days without shaving (looked like a bum most of the time). So I would say my face is now tidier due to SR shaving. Does that count?

for me the answere would have to be maybe a bit more tidier, because since shaving with the SR I like more room to set my items that are going to be used for that session on the counter and it all goes back when I'm done.
