Do you strope a st razor before and after you use it...I thought only before you shave?

You can do it after you shave as well, this to get rid of any soap/hair/water residue which still might be left on the edge when done with the whole shaving and cleaning process.

Before, during and after. The after is after the shave, the careful wipedown, and the heating with a hair dryer to remove all moisture.

I strop before and after and even between passes if it needs it. I also lay it out for 15 minutes or so to dry before I put it away.
