Since you haven't received a reply I'll chime in but I don't pay attention to prices of DDs. Some in good shape go for around 50-60 (I think) and most go for around $200 (I think). Thats sort of an average of Ebay prices. I can assume that before Lynns video you could buy them on Ebay for a little less. Those $60 ones are those Ebays that go by without anyone noticing. I have heard the guys on here talk about them once or twice in the two years I've been on this forum.

I've seen some go for over $200 when in mint like condition.

I just passed up a DD wonderedge for $24 at antique store in Kansas. The celluloid had started to gas and the blade was growing some funny looking rust fuzz. Never seen rust like that before, but it was only surface and did not appear to have pitted yet. I thought about purchasing, replacing the scales and cleaning up the razor. Decided not to and have been kicking my own butt ever since I left that little town.
I travel all over the country...I never thought to try looking in pawn shops...is that the best place to find straights?
Antique shops, yard sales and auctions are great places to find straight razors because the people selling them generally have no idea what they're worth. "This old thing? How does four dollars sound?"
I've got a few awesome shavers from antique stores for next to nothing.
If your ever driving down the street and see "Estate Sale", pull over quick!
I paid $102.50 for a near mint one this was right after Xmas when not too many were looking at it. :D :D It also had the spirals on the shank and tang. I touched it up a bit on the hones and it shaves really well.
