Good Morning!
I too, am thrilled with this thread as I'm always combing the internet for "Shaving Tips" to put on the website and my lack of experience in using a straight razor makes me a very poor candidate for judging which are good tips and which are lousy. and perhaps more important......"Which are actually USEFUL " ....... Besides they're just the standard "shave after you shower".
I asked Lynn awhile back if I could put a link to SRP under the "Tip of the Week" column and he said.....yes :y ....and that has been taken of.
I would like to know if you fine Gentlemen would mind if I gather up Straight Razor shaving tips from here and post them on the website ? I am more than happy to sign the authors name ( first only/last only) to give credit where credit is due....or not......I will always ask first.
So the tip would go under the "Tip of the week" section and the the link to SRP is right under it......
Would this be OK ?

- Don't shave while wearing your tens unit.
If you must listen to music while using a straight razor, don't choose the 1812 overture. :)
I would like to add that screaming inlaws standing close behind you while you have a razor in your hand can make shaving difficult and also make you think evil thoughts.
Thanks for the thread Nelson. Some good stuff there. The one about not shaving naked is important. I have never dropped a razor ....... yet but you can't be too careful. I wouldn't want my baritone to change to a falsetto. :)
My contribution to the axiom collection would be my sig line. It is advice that has worked for me.
