I only shave if I can listen to music also. Most times I put on Classical, I like Strauss Jr best. There is something about the waltz and the timing of razor passes. Beethoven's 3rd is a great shave soundtrack too. But sometimes I have Johnny Cash or The Killer Jerry Lee for a background score. James Brown can get on my stereo also. I guess it's whatever mood I'm in. I do avoid Slayer though.

I have an old, but pretty decent cd player (not mp3) that I make up music collections for from my itunes library. I change it out every month or two. I always include Sade, Sting, Dido, and other stuff I haven't heard in a while. I also like to listen to movie soundtrack CD's...English Patient, Out of Africa, etc.

Music when I shave
I like some Zappa when I shave. The Grand Wazoo is one of my favorite albums:tu

Lately, Pink Floyd 'Great Gig In the Sky'. The gal singing was told to approximate that she was having an orgasm. I think she pulled it off rather well. And it leads to a great shave!

During the weekend I usually listen to classical music while I shave.
Often Bach, Grieg, Mendelssohn or Mozart.
-
Usually Pandora, "Take Five" Radio if I'm in the mood for jazz, or "Ratatat" radio if I feel like some psychedelic guitars.
-
Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters, Johnny Cash

Hate to say it, but, I listen to bagpipes for most of my shaves. On the weekend I do Drop kick Murphys.

I'm on an old school hip-hop kick lately. Del la Sol, things like that. Older I get the more I like things I used to hate. I gotta have a beat.
