that small patch beneath your lower lip

Hi Guys

Shaving pleasure and profiency is increasing still...

BUT... except for that nasty patch of hair right under my lower lip... those wiskers are the only ones that still somehow refuse to get cut easily... be it WTG, XTG, ATG... i figure i'm not the only one with that challenge, so i wonder, how did you guys overcome it?

I shave those little pesky hairs but turning the blade up and pulling down on my chin to stretch the skin. Then I carefully move the blade towards my lip.
Seems to work.

I curl my lower lip up over my lower front teeth and just do short down or WTG strokes. Light touch.

i'm (attemping to do) doing the same thing, actually... i try to get my skin as taught as possible... maybe my touch needs to be lighter...

That is the problem with having hair on your face. My problem area is my chin! It makes no difference which razor I use, it seems these hairs instead of being equal to copper hardness, they are made out of steel. I will try what Lynn recomended. Juan

I have had great success shaving this area by using my tongue to push the skin out. I do this on the entire mouth area and I notice that it has gotten me much closer than skin stretching or odd facial contortions.

Try using your tongue to push the skin out. I think you will be surprised at how efficient this is.

I also use my tongue when I'm working on my upper lip.

I also struggle with this area. I think the problem for me is that the whiskers are not as easy to cut, and so I end up using pressure to try to help. This, of course, give me razor burn.
