A little anecdote
So I don't normally shave every day, or even every other day unless I'm working, so I'll often have a bit of stubble going on.
Normally when swmbo and I go to bed, I lay on my back and she on her side with her head resting on my chest. Often she will get a facial itch, and instead of scratching it with her hand, she will just find some spot on my face or neck with stubble and rub her face on it to scratch. Since I dont' keep my beard super shaved all the time, she usually doesn't have a problem finding some stubble.
So last night something funny happened. I had shaved that morning. It was one of the nice, 3 pass, ATG gettin it BBS shaves that I love to do now and again. So we are laying in bed getting ready to sleep and she has one of her facial itches and I feel her head move up to my cheek to scratch. But there is nothing there for her, even when she tries moving ATG. Then she moves down to my neck, and there isn't a bit of stubble for her their either. She made this funny little sound, obviously annoyed that her itch wasn't getting scratched, and finally found a spot on the bottom of my chin with a little stubble she could use. By this time I was chuckling heartily.
Oh the joys of straight shaving. Never would I be so cleanly shaving 12+ hours after my shave if I hadn't been using a straight.

Finally, a rational argument AGAINST BBS!

Ahh.. I knew there was a reason cartridge razors were invented :p

Great anecdote! Made me smile.

ha ha....awesome! Something's wrong if you ever get to where you can't scratch her itch.
-
Dang!! The down side of straight shaving!! :rofl2: :D

Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are. Thanks for the anecdote, Mark.
