My neck whiskers grow the same way, sideways, which means a true ATG pass is near impossible. The next best option, which is really just as effective, is to do 2 XTG passes in opposite directions. So in your/my case that means N to S followed by S to N (or vice versa of course). That, along with the aformentioned skin stretching and scything stroke, should do the trick.
