    Talking good shave

I have been reading the straight razor place forum since June of 2010. Since then I have purchased 4 razors from the members. I just wanted to thank the people here for being honest. I shaved this morning with a Joseph Allen and Son and got a good shave from the old razor. Again I just wanted to thank everyone.

If that was your first shave you're certainly way ahead of most of us.

    Cool good shave

    Ace and Mitch,
It was not my first shave. I have been shaving with a straight since July 2010. I had no problem learning. I watched Mr. Abrams video on the internet, picked up the razor and the rest is history. I can shave with both hands. Im left handed and have nicked myself two times. Both times was with my strong hand. Aint that a kick in the old head. Everyone have a good day and a good shave.----Dennis

Congratulations on getting into straight shaving properly, by watching the videos and reading the Wiki. The Beginners section is full of posts by people who haven't gone the same way and paid the price. Straight shaving is just flat difficult for a beginner, and a beginner not armed with a foundation of knowledge has a tough row to hoe. Here's to many good shaves?
