Awesome post. Is it typical for a barber to start ATG? I once went into AOS for a straight shave and they charge by the pass - I had just assumed it was always WTG then ATG and never thought of trying ATG first.

Thanks for the post and the pics, Bob! Now if only I could get my wife trained up... :hmmm: :rofl2:
What's the point of that! Any moron can use a cartridge razor. If I went to a barber for a shave I would want something a little bit special, and that would be a proper shave using a cut-throat razor. Yeah I know I can do that myself at home these days as well, but I would also pay someone to do it for me every once-in-a-while too. I wouldn't pay anybody to shave me with anything else though, and certainly not $30.

I'd just like to simply say: Thanks for sharing! To find someone to shave you is cool, but to find a young person who has the skills to shave someone is simply "art".
Well, you gotta figure that the blades for the fusion cost about $5 each and if you're like me they were only good for two, maybe three one pass shaves...
I'd pay $30 for an amazing, BBS, razor burn, nick free straight shave. I get those every now and then but it certainly isn't a daily occurrence. I can do BBS but it usually involves some skin thinning and weepers...:tameshigiri:
I’m impressed. Good job.
