Noooooo Waaay!
I don't trust anyone that much.
Your wife maybe. Mine, I don't think so.
My wife shaves me periodically. She has had quite a bit of practice on herself and does pretty good. I've never let her do a complete shave as I enjoy doing it myself. I may have to let her soon.
Only for the life insurance
!!!!THE HORROR!!!
My husband loves to have me give him a shave
If someone as skilled with a razor as Carrie wanted to shave me, who am I to deny her that pleasure.
Mine doesn't shave my face, but after a haircut she'll lather up and do the back of my neck. Barber's don't seem to do that anymore, so I'm really glad that mine does! (By lady is also my barber!)
my girl would find away to cut her self even if she was in a empty padded room.
Lol so its safe to say there is no way a blade is going in her hands and then near my face lol
I used to let her clean up the back of my neck. Now were getting divorced and im sure she would love the oppurtunity to get near my neck with a razaor again. She would never have to work again haha.
Thanks but no, she's only recently gotten where she will shave herself with a DE Gillette Tech. She's totally scared of straights and would likely put me on the fast track to a transfusion. Speaking of your wife shaving you, this guy here...good grief, I'm surprised he can walk with stones this big. Although with that strop sag, I doubt she could do much damage.

I have asked if my wife would and she does not trust her self to try.
I would not let my mine use a cartridge on me (she asked once). A straight? Not a chance!
Geez I reckon the razor would look dull to a blind man the way she stropped it.
My wife wouldn't shave me with a CT in a pink fit. She is way too scared of sharp things. She's even paranoid about the kids coming in to talk to me while I have a shave. Yet I am quite comfortable with them there myself.

Never gonna happen. Girlfriend's hands literally shake when she uses a knife, it is terrifying to watch her use one on an onion, let alone a face.
she did it again tonight, never a nick!
Are you kidding?! Maybe my wife is a little sadistic, but she finds it humorous when I nick myself. No way. Not now. Not ever.
She can shave me any time she wants. Shes been a master barber for 15 or so years, maybe longer, so I wasnt hesitant the first time she did it. I would let an untrained ladt do it as well. Start with the cheeks and learn like a newb.
NO NO NO NO NO
Not only is my husband too chicken but I'm too chicken to shave him as well.

It took my almost 2 years of using straights myself before I even thought about trying to shave Joed. I think I was more scared of cutting him that he was. While I do shave him occasionally I have to make sure I am good and ready to do it. It is a huge difference shaving someone else than shaving yourself as any barber that does it can tell you. I still get nervous at times and that is when I know I need to stop and let him finish up
My husband is still a little nervous about straight razors. He's warming up to it a little bit and I don't want to ruin that. If I nicked him even a little bit it would be all over and he would never let a straight near his face again. I would rather he get curious enough to try it on his own.

I would have to say no. She nicks herself shaving with those disposable garbage razors and besides I think she would like to cash in on my life insurance.
I asked her that and she told me only with an electric razor.
If I asked my wife to shave me, she'd laugh and say something like, 'I never thought it possible for a bone lazy pig of a man to get lazier, but it obviously is!' Well actually she wouldn't really...But she might think it! Gods know what goes through her mind. Or any other womans for the matter of that. :D

I remember my sister was able to slice her legs with a 'caged' cartridge razor. Most of my girlfriends had a scar or two of similar encounters... So, I guess we could say 'No way Jose!'
Hmmm, you mean have a Billy Bob Thorton/Jolie moment...Umm, yeah...???
...No way! ...I have an "X" and I'm still here because I would never allow my wife to do that regardless of how much I trusted her..."survival instinct", gentlemen.
No way, Jose!
EH....Excuse me...no I dont want anyone that is a benifcery to my life insurance getting anywhere close to my juggular with a razor...Thank you very much !!!
No, NO and HELL no!
I've seen my wife cut herself on every kind of bladed item known to modern man, shielded, caged or otherwise, so there's no way on Earth I'd let her near me with a CT/straight razor!
Somehow I keep seeing images of Whoopi Goldberg ready to slash Danny Glovers throat.
During my 3rd shave my wife wanted to try to shave my neck. She was allowed. She has too much time invested in training me to "accidentally" let that razor slip. After looking at the thread, "so easy a twelve year old girl can do it," I might just let the Mrs. give me a complete shave one of these days.
My wife is too intimidated to pick up a straight. She's still working up courage to try a DE. Were she using a straight regularly and it were her idea, I wouldn't have a problem with it.
Mine is converted, for now on her legs. I might pick up a de for myself and her. If she likes the shave from the DE the time it takes with the straight might make it second in line. I would not let your wife touch a straight until that new addition is sleeping through the night :)
I wouldn't want anyone else to shave me, for the simple reason that I do not wish to lose any of the joy of shaving with a straight, even for a day. It is my ritual and mine alone. YMMV.
I can agree with you there! But maybe after some of this newness wears off I will ask her to sit me down and wipe the whiskers off my ugly mug. It could be relaxing, it is possible for me to take a quick nap when the barber is cutting my hair. But just like you, I still enjoy the shave myself.
Perhaps, but this is hardly newness for me having been 'straight' for 3 years. Different strokes for different folks. The joy of selecting one of many from my rotation followed by the selection of one of many shaving products of which to create a lather from, and then the relaxation of the shave itself, which absorbs all my attention and thus, for the limited duration of the shave I forget all worries and focus only on the shave; is to me a non-delegable privilege and after a long or hard day, something to look forward to.
