I've never bothered with that.
A good rinse in hot water, then I leave it to dry.
Has worked nicely for me these last two years..
I figured. Thanx.
purely a liability issue.
Right! CYA
The "Pro" in the name is literal--these are barber's tools, so they're supposed to be replaced after each use for hygiene reasons.
Interesting. I never thought of that.
So, this morning was my first shave with my Feather AC/RX. All I can say is that the Shavette I tried first should be outlawed. While I did not get a nick free shave (hey! first time ya know) it was a world better than the Shavette. I took everyone's advise and tread very easily with NO PRESSURE and not much of an angle. The only real nick was when I got cocky!
I still wasn't 100% comfortable with the machinations of the razor, but then again I am a buck newbie so I don't have a load of experience at all.
Thanks to all for the help!!
You're doing fine, it takes a little while before you become proficient with any razor. If you leave the blade in the razor it can become a little bit rusty, but that won't harm the stainless steel razor. After shaving I carefully dry the blade off and put it back in the razor.
TY. It only takes a second to remove and clean the blade.
