That sounds great. As for the nicks, if I don't nick myself, chances are that I didn't shave. You'll eventually get those trouble areas mastered. Congratulations!

Cheers! The DE razor has been good now that i'm using it correctly, but the shavette gave a much closer shave! And as I said I won't be shaving my neck ect with it for a bit, at least not until I have seen a few more you tube vids! The area I shaved is so smooth I ahd to resist goign for a full shave, but when I do I think I will appreciate it more !
Tried my chin today and came a cropper :| For some reasons when I went ATG the blade would not glide, it was if it was stuck and thats when I cut myself. I think it may be my angle but the angle looked ok, will watch some more videos first and try and see what I did wrong.
From what you have said it does sound like your angle of attack was off. Also you might of been putting a little to much pressure. The chin is really deceiving when using a straight. Trying to keep with the curve of the chin really makes you want to add pressure subconscious.
