Dadburn overenthusiasm

Okay so why didn't anyone warn me about the effects of chasing the magic razor, the perfect edge, and the closest shave?

I acquired a mate for my benchmark Wester Bros razor........it took the same laser like edge........I test shaved it.........soooooo smooth.

I rechecked the other razor.......unbelievable.........then back to the new one.........incredible these things are magic.

Just to be certain I lathered up for the 5th or 6th or whatever time cause it was going so well I was just have fun slipping off lather and getting really nit picky
with every little trace of a whisker I could find.

The moistened alum block hit my face like napalm. Twelve hours ago it felt like an overdone chemical peel. This morning my skin looks more like perfectly applied shrink wrap.

Wonder what the requirements are to board certify for cosmetic applications of a straight razor to rejuvenate skin. I am running out of Solarcane.

NOTE to self; Curb your enthusiasm razors are serious tools having fun can have consequences. Three passes is enough.:aargh:

Yep been there done that!I spent 4 days with red skin because I played to much.Now days 3 passes is it.If it did not work,it will have to keep until the next day or 2!lol

I feel your pain too! But as the title to this thread is "Dadburn;" note that if you are a father of kids still in diapers, you probably have some of the best "burn fighting" stuff on hand.

That "but cream" stuff for kids, works like magic on burn. If you can get your hands on a product by Johnson & Johnson called Penaten... Well, it worked so well for me, I was thinking of repackaging it into little containers and selling it as a burn solution. Probably will not get too may repeat orders though as I doubt you'll ever do 5 passes again lol!

I've got a briar patch next to my adam's apple that just won't shave as close as the rest of my face. Close but not smooth. WTG, ATG, XTG, blade fresh from a honemeister, nothing. After one good burn, I've accepted it and moved on.
