Ok so I was shaving today and got a cut, not wide but deep. It gushed I had to fight it with my hot shaving towel a styptic pencil AND toilet paper. It don't look like much in the pic but it was one of those that stung and I said to myself "this is not gonna be a good shave" and then it didn't bleed for ten seconds. once it did though it was a fight.
I learned the other day that even a round point can get your ear if your not careful. No picture, but it was one of those that didnt bleed right away but luckily, I got it stopped within a minute or so.
Not related to shaving, but I was sanding the rust an tarnish off of a Rodgers and sons blade and in my laziness I didn't secure it on a bench... This is the result. Attachment 124658
2 closure strips and quite a lot of blood... Lesson learned. But the blade cleaned up nicely!
Anyone else use protection like this;

Oh my! Those are some serious gloves!!! :mace:
Those crazy shark divers use something else, none of these are really good against teeth.
I've used them inside my D3A gloves, kind of suprices people when they pull out a knife and you immediately grip the blade and either break it or pull it out of their hand.
Now days they serve as hand protection when polishing and such, feels better to know the few fingers I've got left will stay on.
