Definitely could have been worse! That amount of blood could have just as easily come a pimple that was shown who the boss is.
And, welcome aboard! I notice that this is your first post. You should consider dropping by "Member Introductions" Sub-Forum, under the "Beginners" section.
I can beat these. I have a Mastro Livi custom made 7/8 with Stag scales, see picture. It is big and heavy and I love the way it shaves. I don't cut my face but I have put some really deep cuts on the top of my left fingers. For some reason this blade hates my left hand. I have a first aid kit that has a blood and cut sealing powder, butterfly bandages, etc.. A MASH unit doesn't have what I have. I have to put the razor down then pick it up with my other hand or off to the first aid kit. Don't have this problem with any other razor.Attachment 232052
This one is from a few months ago, the day after. It was the first and last "good cut" since I started straight razor shaving about one year ago. Clean cut, and no signs left.

Not so much a cut as a slice. Might be shaving around this area for a while
Gaz
Not from shaving, but still got bit by a SR.

Happened when I was trying to remove the tape from the spine of a razor with no scales. My thumbnail slipped off the edge of the tape, and I was rewarded for being absent minded.

This is about a day later.
"Oh shoot, I cut myself. Better get the camera and show the boys!" :rofl2:
Hmm I could use this as ammo for the next tape no tape thread.
